Trustee Recruitment

Are you passionate about making a tangible impact in the charity sector? This is an exciting opportunity to join The Mulberry Centre at a pivotal time. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2026 and prepare for a series of high-profile fundraising initiatives, this is your chance to be part of something truly special. With the launch of the new Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre at West Middlesex University Hospital, we’re ready to enhance our collaboration with local NHS services and broaden our impact within the community.

Help shape the future of local cancer support at The Mulberry Centre. The Mulberry Centre is seeking two new Trustees to join our Board — individuals who are passionate about making a difference and committed to supporting people affected by cancer across our community.

As a small, independent charity based in Isleworth, we provide vital emotional, psychological, and practical support to those living with cancer, their carers, and those who are bereaved. None of this is possible without the guidance and expertise of a dedicated Board of Trustees.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in:

* Fundraising

* Communications and marketing

* Human Resources (HR)

* Charity governance

* Connections in our local boroughs: Hounslow, Ealing, or Richmond

* Lived experience of cancer or using our services

You do not need previous board experience to apply — just a commitment to our mission, values, and a readiness to contribute your time, skills, and perspective. We offer a warm and supportive environment, a full induction, and the opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful.

We are especially keen to hear from candidates from underrepresented communities to help ensure our Board reflects the rich diversity of those we support.
