The Mulberry Centre offers a range of Wellbeing Classes for its registered clients. All the classes are free and offered to help you increase relaxation, often with gentle activity. Regular participation can bring many benefits including:
- Help reduce stress and increase energy
- Boost self-esteem and confidence
- Instil calmness, relaxation and help clear a busy mind
- Release physical and mental tension
- Improve flexibility, balance, co-ordination
- Enhance wellbeing
- Deepen sleep
We currently offer Wellbeing Classes for patients and carers. Our classes are usually held in the large Mulberry Room or in the garden when the weather is warm and dry but they are also delivered remotely for times when you are not able to get to the Centre.
You will be guided through the class according to your ability and any equipment needed will be explained or provided. You need to wear loose comfortable clothing. Before attending the sessions you will be assessed for suitability by the class teacher so when onsite please arrive to your first session 15 minutes early and in good time for future classes to avoid disruption. Onsite spaces are limited so advance booking is strongly advised.
