The Mulberry Centre Becomes Mulberry Cancer Support

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are delighted to announce that The Mulberry Centre will be adopting a new public-facing name: Mulberry Cancer Support.

For 25 years, we have provided free emotional, practical and wellbeing support to people affected by cancer across West London and beyond. While our name is changing, our mission remains exactly the same – ensuring that no one faces cancer alone.

The new name has been chosen to make it immediately clear who we support and the services we provide. Each year, hundreds of people access our counselling, complementary therapies, wellbeing classes, support groups, information and advice services, and we want anyone looking for support to recognise instantly that we are here to help.

Raj Athwal, Chief Executive, said:

"As we look to the future, we want to ensure that anyone who comes across our charity can immediately understand who we are and the support we provide. While our public-facing name is changing, our mission remains exactly the same – ensuring that no one faces cancer alone."

Importantly, our legal name will remain The Mulberry Centre, and there will be no changes to the services we provide. This is simply a new way of presenting ourselves to the public as we continue supporting people affected by cancer for many years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 25 years. We look forward to continuing that journey as Mulberry Cancer Support. Please note, going forward our newsletter will be moving to a quarterly edition.
