Men’s Support Group

For all men affected by cancer, whether you are a cancer patient, caring for someone with cancer or have been bereaved.

Are you one of the many men who is convinced that a men’s support group is most definitely not for you? Well maybe now is the time to have a re-think as the popularity of men’s groups has grown exponentially in recent years, and for good reason.
Men’s groups have been described as prescriptions for social medicine leading to better mental health. Whether you are a patient, carer or bereaved, the impact of cancer can be immense and deeply unsettling. The harsh reality is that when life is challenging, our minds can often be our own worst enemy. Talking with other men facing similar difficulties, sharing your worries and uncertainties, can really help to offload some of the burden you are carrying.
The Mulberry Men’s Group is a welcoming  place where men come together to connect with others and offer one another emotional support, practical advice, warmth and sometimes some much needed humour.
The group meets monthly in-person on the third Thursday of each month and we would love you to come along and join us.
