Funeral and memorial collections
In our experience people sometimes prefer to ask friends and relatives to make a donation to the work of The Mulberry Centre rather than send flowers to their loved one’s funeral, in order to support our work.
If this is something you have considered, we are happy to let you have a collection box and/or a supply of envelopes explaining your preference to friends and relatives as well as details of our address for them to send their gift to. All you have to do is write the name of your loved one and distribute the envelopes/cards to your friends and relatives.
Most funeral directors will be happy to assist in co-ordination a charitable collection at a funeral. We are happy to provide information about the Centre to be inserted or included into a Order of Service.
By asking people to send their gifts direct to The Mulberry Centre means there is less for you to do at a time when you probably have more than enough to cope with.
We will notify you of who has donated to us after all the gifts have been processed.
All you need to do is provide us with, the name of your loved one, your name, address and the quantity of envelopes required.
We will then post them to you for you to distribute.
An online Tribute Fund is a wonderful and lasting way, where you, your family and friends can celebrate a loved ones life.
You can include, stories, photos, music and videos, and share the link with your family and friends so they can make a donation and post messages of love and support.
